Location
The beautiful beach, sea and dunes surrounding
Kijkduin (The Hague) are the main elements of the tough course of the Kyocera Beach Challenge Cross triathlon. This race is always unpredictable and challenging due to the ever-changing natural elements of wind, sand and sea.

Entry fee
The entry fee inludes a Kyocera Beach Challenge sports shirt.
Early bird discount: If you register and pay before May 1st 2013 you will receive a discount: 5 euro for the Long and Trio or 3 euro for the Short series.

Check-in
You may pick up your start numbers and race packet on Saturday before the race at the registration desk. Check out the
schedule for the exact opening times of the registration desk.
Briefing
Five minutes before the start, there is a briefing for athletes in the starting area on the beach. Plan to give yourself enough time to walk to the starting area before the briefing.
Timing
The MyLaps Champion Chip is the timing system

used during the Kyocera Beach Challenge. You can use your own Champion Chip by providing your chip code when you register. Athletes who do not own a Champion Chip can either rent or buy one when registering.
Transition area
The transition area is located on the beach. The area is fenced off. Entry into the transition area is restricted to athletes only. Spectators, family/friends and coaches are not allowed in the transition area. Athletes can enter and leave the transition area freely, but must shown their race numbers.
Nutrition and care
During the run leg, water, AA-Drink Isotonic and sponges will be available. At the finish line, athletes can get water, AA-Drink Energy and fruit. Medical assistence will be available. Public showers are available on the beach.
Prizes
Token prizes are available and will be presented after the race.
